Monumental Inscriptions from the burial ground at Sale*a United Reformed Church, Bridgehousegate, Paisley Bridge, North Yorkshire
Recorded in Apri1 1982.
There are twenty-eight monuments within the ground.
'Earliest date of death is 1815 on on No. 25. Latest date is 1905 on No. 21. Wherever possible the whole inscription is recorded from each monument
The tombstones are of a sandstone, and the inscriptions face east unless noted otherwise. The plan is a roughly made sketch plan only.
A name etc., at the bottom right-hand side of an entry is the Mason, or Maker, or Owner. The measurement in cm. At each entry is around the centre of a headstone.
Recorded etc., by G. Hardwick of Harrogate, a member of the Family History and Population Studies Section of the Yorkshire Archaeological Society, and the Society of Genealogists.
