Volunteers
Over the years, a great many people have generously contributed to the Yorkshire Burials project, and we extend our sincere thanks for their time and effort. Yorkshire is a vast county, with countless churchyards and cemeteries still to be photographed and transcribed. We continue to welcome help with recording headstone inscriptions, transcribing burial registers, and creating location plans using maps and GPS data to make graves easier to find.
If you find this resource useful, have you considered contributing? Do you think you could help? Whether it’s taking photos, typing up inscriptions, or helping us map grave locations, every contribution makes a difference. With your support, we can continue to grow this valuable, free-to-use resource for family historians and researchers.
