The new Yorkshire Burials site is here

Yorkshire Burials has moved to its new website. Over the past few weeks it has run alongside the old site as a preview, and from today it is the only one.

Please log in again. Your username and password are the same as before. You will just need to log in once on the new site. If you have forgotten your password, use "Forgotten your password?" on the login page.

Your old links still work. Bookmarks, links on other websites and search results for the old pages now take you straight to the same record, cemetery or inscription on the new site.

Some of what is new:

• A faster search, with the same filters as before
• Record pages that show the grave on the cemetery's grave plan, where we have one, with the other people in the same grave
• A printable record extract, including directions for finding the grave
• Grave plans for a growing number of cemeteries, with the burials and photographs for each grave
• Inscription photographs linked to the burial records they belong to
• The YAS memorials, searchable alongside everything else
• A Display menu, top right, to change the colours or make the text larger

Found a problem? Every record has a "Report an issue" button, or you can use the Contact page. With a new site there will be a few things we have missed, so please let us know.

Thank you to everyone who has uploaded photographs, transcribed registers and sent in corrections. None of this would exist without you.
