Welcome to the Yorkshire Burials website. Run by passionate hobbyists for the collation of information relating to burials within the Yorkshire region.
We are constantly uploading information to the website, including transcriptions of:
- We have transcribed 1,246,525 burial records, gathered from 69 cemeteries and documented across 368 burial registers.
- We have uploaded 118,563 photographs / Monumental Inscriptions from 418 cemeteries – futher images are currently being transcribed and verified
- Cemetery Plans – digitally reproduced for selected locations
This growing collection has only been made possible thanks to the dedication of our incredible volunteers, who have generously given their time to transcribe, check, and organise this information.
We are proud to share these records with you free of charge as part of our mission to preserve and make accessible Yorkshire's burial history.
